Creative Point has cancelled maintenance scheduled for Tuesday, April 7th. In addition, development of Creative Point has been suspended INDEFINITELY.

Reason: We have just noticed a new policy regarding our "domain" registration. All co.cc "domains" now expire one year after creation. Therefore, this domain will expire sometime in November and our website will be inaccessible. We do not currently have enough resources to get a .com domain at this time. So we have regretfully decided to stop all work and put it on hold indefinitely.

FUCK YOU co.cc and you fucking Korean smartasses at the company!!!

As some of you may have noticed, the Creative Point site was experiencing difficulties earlier. Our host was having some problems, as usual. We are sorry if this caused any inconvenience, though we doubt it did. We are currently looking into switching to a different host. We strive to give our visitors the best experience possible.

Please note that the site was not hijacked and was not serving malicious content during that time. Some of you may have seen a blank Windows Media Player applet. It was determined to be harmless. No compromise in the security of our site and its code has been made. We still recommend running a security scan of your system (if you're on a computer) with your antivirus software if you haven't done so recently.

Sure! But it will take some time and effort. And brainpower. I don't even know why this page sounds like a FAQ now.

We're hoping to launch this website sometime around the New Year, of 2009 of course. But it seems like we're going to need a lot of help, and luck. Not anymore...read the update below.

Note: The estimated time of launch...is just that: estimated. It may be delayed without notice due to unforeseen difficulties, or just laziness.

UPDATE (12/11): It seems like we won't be meeting the deadline of New Years 2009 because of some unforeseen issues. Any new information will be posted here.

UPDATE (1/11): Well, New Year's has come and past and still nothing. There are still some problems to be taken care of. But we're still working behind the scenes. Like creating a new theme for the website. So, we'll get there...sometime.

UPDATE (3/13): We're sorry to inform that progress on this site will be suspended temporarily at least until June or July. Minor updates to this site may still be implemented during the time between now and June. Don't worry, we're not dead...yet. x_x

Apparently, Internet Explorer is being stupid as usual. The favicon we originally created does not render properly in IE7. So if you're using IE, let us know if a favicon shows in your browser.

UPDATE: I have made a little modification to the favicon. Now the favicon shows up correctly once in a while. It looks fine in the address bar, but still looks like crap on the tab bar. It also looks fine in the Favorites panel.

Creative Point recommends using Firefox as your default browser if you aren't already. It's fast, secure, and highly customizable. Get it now from Mozilla's website.
